- I was born in Kearsley, attended St Stephens C of E Kearsley and FGS 1940-45.
- Worked in Blackfriars Street, Manchester, accounts office until 1952.
- Lived in Dumfries Scotland, seven years, after marrying John Orme - Salford and Lancaster Grammar schools, Manchester and Sheffield Universities - Consultant Clinical Psychologist, Sheffield area Health Authority. Have three children (two daughters, one son) and three grandchildren.
- I spent three years teacher training 1969-72 and taught 18 years full time in Sheffield.
- I live in Dore, former Derbyshire village, on the edge of the peak district.
- Very happy memories of FGS and social life, especially Powells milk bar, Moor Hall and Bolton Palais. Bolton Wanderers fan when 'Nat was King'.
